Course Introduction

Taught by an industry expert lecturer, this course introduces you to the theory and techniques required to build Mobile Web Applications. Mobile and Web Applications have significant constraints and differences with respect to traditional web development, and this module will prepare you for this style of development by focusing on best practices and established methodologies.  

You will also study JavaScript libraries, analyse packaging trends for applications using particular client-side frameworks and deploy a Mobile Web Application. 

Through Digital Skills Academy’s experiential learning approach, you’ll have an opportunity to apply and embed your new skills whilst on the course.

Essential Requirements

  • This course requires that participants have already successfully completed the "Web and Device Programming" Online Short Course as a foundation.

As part of our application process, you will also take a simple, online suitability assessment for your chosen course. Based on your answers, this will confirm that you have the skills and experience required for a successful outcome.

14 hours (comprising a weekly average of 7 taught hours plus 7 additional hours on average for self-study, research and group work)

You will be given a number of course-specific assignments that both reinforce the learning and give you work-based experience of applying your new skills. All assignments are subject to a rigorous assessment framework. Assessments for this specific course cover JQuery and Angular JS. You will also take weekly quizzes.
