Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the course combine training and facilitation?

Very often the best learning occurs in groups, when people exchange views and experiences. Being able to facilitate such learning situations is a vital skill for the trainer. It could be argued that these same facilitation skills are equally important in helping teams overcome a range of obstacles and challenges. Typically these are skills that operations managers, team leaders or project managers need to have in the modern business environment.

Does the course focus exclusively on the training and facilitation of multi-location teams operating in a digital business environment?

Certainly the course has a particular emphasis on multi-location teams operating in the digital environment but it also includes training and facilitation in the traditional workplace. There are a core set of training and facilitation skills that apply to all business environments and these are covered while dealing with ‘variations’ arising from the multi-location challenge.
